Shri Venkat Nageswar Chalasani retired as Deputy Managing Director, International Banking Group of State Bank of India on 30th April 2021. During a span of 37 1/2 years of service in the Bank, Venkat held various distinguished positions in the Bank pan India and abroad. He worked in all the areas of Banking Credit, Treasury, Retail, International Banking, Finance, Risk Management etc.

2) As DMD, IBG, Venkat was overseeing 233 foreign offices spread across 32 countries with balance sheet size more than $ 62 billion. He had held CFO position of the Bank briefly for 6 months as an additional charge. Prior to his assignment as DMD (IBG), he was DMD, Global Markets overseeing the largest Banking treasury operations in the country.

3) Venkat has joined as CEO of AMFI since November 2023. He is Non-Official member for Board for Trade nominated by GOI, Board member of SBI-CDMDF. In addition, he is regular speaker at RBI College of Supervisors, CAFRAL, a Distinguished Fellow at Administrative Staff College of India and Member of various committees of RBI/SEBI. He was Member Advisory committee of SREI Group of companies nominated by RBI, Financial Advisor to REC, IRFC and GreatKapital. He was also on the boards of various companies like NCDEX, Axis MF Trustee, IDBI Capital Markets & Securities Ltd., Apitoria Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Svamaan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd., FBIL, CDSL, CCIL etc.

B. Gopkumar is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of Axis AMC. With almost three decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mr. Gopkumar has successfully navigated challenging roles in sales & distribution and marketing & branding. He is known for his proficiency in managing large teams and building digital ecosystems.

Prior to this, he was the MD & CEO of Axis Securities from 2019. Before that, he has chaired leadership positions at several reputed firms including Reliance Securities and Kotak Group. He passionately believes that technology-driven solutions are imperative to empower investors and partners to unlock the true potential of the Indian financial services landscape.

He is an avid reader, a fitness enthusiast, and a passionate marathoner.

Educational Qualification: MBA from Mangalore University, Senior Executive Leadership Programme from Harvard Business School

Saurabh is the Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Asset Management (India) Private Limited and has been instrumental in the successful establishment and growth of the mutual fund business, since its inception in 2008.

His last assignment was with HDFC Standard Life Insurance as Chief Investment Officer; overseeing USD 2 bn across asset classes. Prior to HDFC Standard Life Insurance, he was with Deutsche Asset Management for 4 years. He spent the first 20 months with Deutsche Asset Management in India, as Head of Institutional Sales, when they started their operations. He subsequently moved to Singapore as the Business Manager for their Asia (Ex-Japan) region, primarily focused on general management and overseeing day-to-day operations. He played a pivotal role in establishing Deutsche's Asset Management Joint Venture in China with Harvest Asset Management. His earlier assignments include stints with multinational institutions like Reuters and HSBC India.

Saurabh holds an Electronics Engineering degree and is an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He is also a Director on the Board of Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI) and was Chairman of the AMFI standing committees on ARN (2015-19) and Operation Compliance (2011-14).

Ganesh has more 20+ years of experience in Financial Services, Capital markets, Process transformation & Investment Banking.

He has joined MFU from BSE Limited (Bombay Stock Exchange) where he was working as MF Business Head.

Prior to BSE he worked with KFintech (RTA) as Head - Mutual Fund Ops & Digital Products

Earlier to that, he was with Bank of America Merrill Lynch India & GE Capital managing various functions like Trading Operations, Middle Office, Global Securities, Loan Services covering Asia, EMEA & USA regions.

He has completed his Bachelor’s in Finance, PGDBA and a Certified 6 Sigma Black Belt.

Kalpen Parekh is the Managing Director & CEO of DSP Investment Managers Pvt. Ltd.

He has over two decades of experience in finance and asset management. Prior to joining DSP, Mr. Parekh was responsible for growing businesses at IDFC Mutual Fund, Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd., and ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd.

He is passionate about behavioural finance and believes that investor behaviour is one of the most crucial aspects to a good investment experience. Mr. Parekh has undertaken various initiatives in the organisations that he has worked with to highlight the importance and learnings of behavioural finance across the value chain.

Mr. Parekh holds a master’s degree in management studies in finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Mr. Swarup Anand Mohanty is the Vice Chairman & CEO of Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) Pvt. Ltd., with over 30 years of expertise in financial services, specializing in Asset Management Sales. Since joining in July 2011, he has led Mirae Asset’s India operations with visionary leadership, navigating challenging market conditions with strategic insight.

Mr. Mohanty is a graduate of Stanford Executive Program and an Alumni of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

He also holds a PGDBM and B.Com (Hons.) degree.

He is actively engaged in key industry bodies, including:

• SEBI’s Mutual Fund Advisory Committee (MFAC)
• Index Advisory Committee (Equity), NSE Indices Limited
• Ministry of Finance’s Committee for Unified Pension Scheme (UPS) investment patterns, chaired by Shri Supratim Bandyopadhyay, Former Chairperson PFRDA

Beyond his corporate roles, Mr. Mohanty is an avid music enthusiast, championing the preservation of vinyl records. He draws parallels between his investment philosophy and his passion for music, emphasizing patience and long-term vision—core principles that have driven Mirae Asset’s success in India

Krishnan is the Chief Operations Officer of Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Limited.

Krishnan, is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant with over 26 years of experience in the fields of Operations, Systems, Finance, MIS, Accounting, Audit and Taxation. Prior to joining the Kotak Group in August 1994, Krishnan was a practicing Chartered Accountant for two years, handling Accounting, Audit and Taxation matters for clients.

Since joining the Kotak Group, Krishnan has handled major assignments like the US GAAP implementation for the erstwhile Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited (KMFL) and subsidiary/group companies, Systems Development and Implementation, for the Retail Assets Group and KMFL's transition to Kotak Bank. Krishnan's last assignment was as Head - Operations, Retail Assets, at Kotak Bank.

Krishnan joined Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund in August 2004 as Senior Vice President, and Chief Operations Officer, and oversees the Operations, Accounting and IT functions of the Fund.

Keerti Gupta is the Chief Operations Officer of Aditya Birla Sun Life Asset management Limited and she is responsible for building strategic and operating framework for operations and information technology of MF, PMS and Offshore business. Keerti represents ABSLAMC at Industry committee at AMFI level.

Earlier, Keerti had served Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited in various roles including chief Investment officer and Head -Risk and Compliance and was instrumental in setting up advanced level of risk framework including enterprise risk management, operational risk management along with information risk management. During this period she was a member on BSLI’s Investment Committee and Asset Liability Management Committee. And represented BSLI at various committees at life council and IRDA.

Prior to that Keerti had served Aditya Birla Finance as Head- Treasury. She started her carrier with Gujarat Lease Finance Limited as Branch Head.

Keerti is a finance professional with 28 years of experience in the financial services involving v disciplines ranging from sales, Treasury, Investments, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Information technology.

Vikas is currently working with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd and is responsible for managing the Operations, Customer Experience and Technology function.

He has work experience of over 25 years in various facets of retail banking and asset management including branch banking, distribution of loans and deposits, debt management, fraud risk, credit policy, portfolio management, operations and technology.

Prior to this, he was associated with ICICI Bank. At the Bank he headed the strategy and planning, customer experience, innovation, branch transformation and risk management for retail Branches and also led various initiatives in the areas of service and operational efficiency through innovations in branch channel for the Bank. He has been a speaker at various global forums.

Vikas is a Bachelor of Commerce and holds a Masters of Business Administration.

Hemant Agrawal is the Head – Operations and Information Technology at Bandhan AMC Limited (Formerly IDFC Asset Management Company Limited) with over three decades of experience, is responsible for overseeing Operations, Information Technology & Customer Service.

He joined Bandhan AMC in November 2017. Before joining Bandhan AMC, he was associated with IIFL Distribution Services Ltd. as Head - Operations and Information Technology and was responsible for overseeing the operational activities of IIFL Distribution Services from November 2016 to October 2017. Prior to that, he was associated with ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd as Head - Operations & Customer Services, responsible for overseeing operations and customer services of ICICI Prudential AMC Ltd from February 2007 to October 2016.

Mr. Agrawal is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce.

Milind Nesarikar is currently the Chief Service & Operational Excellence Officer for Nippon Life India Asset Management Limited. He has over 25 years of experience spanning across various industries, organizations & geographies. He has worked across various functions like Sales & Distribution, Operations, Digital Initiatives & Risk Management in the Mutual Fund Industry. He has worked in the asset management business, both in the domestic & on the overseas front.

Hemant Kumar is the Business Head at Tata Asset Management responsible for the retail distribution, namely, IFA and National Distributors as well as developing the ecosystem for penetrating the Tata Group companies.

Prior to joining Tata Asset Management, Hemant was with Citibank heading their 'Suvidha business' managing affluent, emerging affluent and salaried accounts nationally. At Citi, he built and lead a team of 170 relationship managers across physical and digital sales, service operations and product specialists.

Hemant has over 18 years of experience in the financial services space and started his career with Citicorp Maruti Finance Ltd.

Hemant is a Mechanical Engineer and has completed his Masters in Business Administration from K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies.

Suresh has been associated with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited since 2007. At the AMC, his responsibilities include building operational excellence and scalability in the area of Operations and Investor services to meet organizational growth agenda. He has 24 years of post-qualification experience in the field of finance, taxation and asset management. He is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant and holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree from Mumbai University.

Swaminathan Srinivasan is a proficient leader in Service Industry. He is a Management postgraduate with total work experience of 22 years

Swami has worked at a Leadership position in Insurance companies like Max New York Life Insurance, Met Life & ING Vyasya. He presently works at Franklin Templeton India AMC and in tenure here, he has been responsible for different roles & projects under Transfer Agency within Company. He was Head of Customer Service & Grievances and effective December 1, 2021, he has been appointed as a Head of Transfer Agency, in this role he is responsible to lead overall Operations & Service delivery for Franklin Templeton India AMC.

Sameer Seksaria has been working with HDFC Asset Management Company as Head – Client Services since Dec’21. In this role he is responsible to lead overall RTA Operations & Service delivery for HDFC AMC.

Sameer is a Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University, Postgraduate from IIM Bangalore & CFA from CFA institute, USA. Sameer has graduated from the prestigious Global Leadership Development Program (GLDP) of GE Capital & is also a certified Master Black Belt.

Before joining HDFC AMC, Sameer worked at Franklin Templeton AMC as their India Head – RTA Operations & Service delivery. Prior to that he has also worked with Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd, Nippon Reliance life Insurance, ITC, L&T, GE Capital and MetLife.
